PRACTICING CHRISTIAN

Practicing Christian everyday He don’t go to church on Sunday

For him that’s just another day to be a practicing Christian every day

Jesus taught tolerance to everyone You can find that in the Bible son

Take a hard look in the world today You see all the churches going the other way

Thy kingdom come Thy will be done

Practicing Christian don’t take much

Now I don’t mean to preach at all

It might be nothing but a caring touch that keeps a wild child from hitting the wall

We teach our children to criticise play favourites and shift the blame

Wonder why we’re hypocrites in their eyes

The way we manage it’s a crying shame

Thy kingdom come Thy will be done

After the first two thousand years of theft and murder in Jesus’ name Can’t our leaders shed human tears Don’t they have any human shame I own two eyes and an active mind I stand accused of an axe to grind

It’s a duty of care to human kind To be troublesome rather than live half blind

My kingdom come Thy will be done
